Trivia[]

  • The album cover parodies the album cover for Michael Jackson's Bad, and was photographed by the same person who shot the original.
  • This is one of two studio albums not to include a polka medley, the other being "Weird Al" Yankovic (album).
  • Apart from “Fat”, all of the album’s other parodies are of contemporary cover versions of older songs: “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Mony Mony” we’re both originally recorded by Tommy James and the Shondells, “La Bamba” is a Mexican folk song popularized by Ritchie Valens, and “Got My Mind Set On You” was originally recorded by James Ray before they were covered by Tiffany, Billy Idol, Los Lobos and George Harrison respectively.
