- An alternate version of this song exists, in which "Papa Don't Preach" was replaced with "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" by Wang Chung, followed by the line "I wanna be your Sledgehammer" ending the medley. This is found during a live performance on MTV's New Year's Eve Party 1987.
